Healthy Snack For Kids - Dry Fruit and Nuts

This recipe is very healthy delectable and nutritious. Actually, this is an Indian traditional dessert prepared during festival seasons especially in the eve of Krishna Ashtami. It gives you instant energy and a super snack for all kinds of age groups. Kids are usually skipping nutritious food and now they are addicted to fast food culture which is unhealthy. Moreover, homemade food is safe for your family.

These dry fruit and nuts ball attract your kids because they love sweet dishes.  In this recipe, we are not adding any sugar syrups or jaggery for sweetness and it is prepared with only dry fruits and nuts.when u feel hungry take one delicious ball and have it.

This recipe is so simple to prepare and serve to your kids as a snack. kids enjoy their snack boxes for sure. This recipe can also be named as "instant protein ball"

Ingredients

  • Almonds - 1 cup
  • Cashew -1 cup
  • Pista -1 cup
  • Walnuts - 1 cup
  • Seedless dates -1 cup
  • Figs - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee - 3 tsp
  • Cardamon powder -1 tsp

Step 1:-

Take a pan and roast almonds, cashew, pasta, and walnuts in a medium flame stir them until the aroma raised. Don't roast too much because they lose nutrients.

Step 2:-

Now turn off the flame and take into a tray, let it cool down for 5 minutes later make it a fine powder with a blender or you want crunchy bites to chop the dry fruits.

Step 3:-

Now blend seedless dates and figs coarsely and there is no need to roast. Add coarsely blended dry fruits powder and now knead them all.

Step 4:-

Add ghee up to 2-3 tsp and cardamom powder of 1tsp then immediately start making balls because when it cools down you can't able to make a ball. The dry fruit and nuts mixture should be warm enough to get a fine shape.

Step 5:-

Now dry fruit balls are ready to serve. Store balls in an airtight container and you may preserve in the refrigerator. These balls can preserve/stay for months because of they finely roasted.
